Corso de Corsos, 9 de febrero 2008

El carnaval en Bolivia se celebra 40 dias antes de la Pascua, durante la Cuaresma. Se celebra bailando. Se bailan todos los bailes que se ven a continuacion. Despues de la celebracion en Oruro llegan todos los que bailan a Cochabamba para participar en el gran desfile que se llama el Corso de Corsos. En 2008 el desfile tomo lugar el 9 de febrero.

Carnival in Bolivia is celebrated 40 days before Easter. It is celebrated by dancing. All of the dances seen in the following pictures are danced. After the celebration in Oruro all of the dancers come to Cochabamba to participate in a huge parade known as the Corso de Corsos. In 2008 the parade was held on February 9.

Catedral de Cochabamba; Cochabamba Cathedral

La construcción de la catedral metropolitana de Cochabamba comenzó en 1701. La construcción se completó en 1735. Fue convertida en catedral en el año 1975.

Construction of the metropolitan cathedral of Cochabamba was begun in 1701. Construction was completed in 1735. The church was declared a cathedral en 1975.
